This policy explains what information Pray With Me ("we", "us") collects when you use the Pray With Me app and the praywithmefamily.com website (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. Your email address and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the name and email your provider shares with us.
- Content you create. Prayers, prayer requests, and activity within prayer circles you join or create. Content you share with a circle is visible to its members.
- Purchase information. Your subscription status and purchase history, processed through Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store your full payment card details.
- Device and usage data. Basic technical data such as device type, operating system, app version, and diagnostic events used to keep the Service working and improve it.
2. How we use information
- to provide the Service: accounts, prayers, and prayer circles;
- to process and manage your subscription;
- to send Service emails such as sign-in codes and circle invitations;
- to understand usage, fix problems, and improve the app;
- to protect the Service against abuse and to comply with law.
We do not sell your personal information or show third-party ads.
3. Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run the Service: Supabase (authentication, database, and hosting of app data), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple and Google (sign-in and billing on their platforms), Resend (transactional email), and Vercel (website hosting). Each processes your data only to provide their service to us.
4. Sharing
Content you post to a prayer circle is shared with that circle's members. Beyond that and the providers above, we only disclose personal information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or security of the Service and its users.
5. Data retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app or by emailing us; deletion removes your account and content from our systems within 30 days, except where we must retain records to meet legal obligations.
6. Security
Your data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires it.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us at the address below and we will respond in accordance with applicable law (including the GDPR and the CCPA where they apply).
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Our providers may store data in the United States or the European Union. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on our providers' safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
